Hello! My name is Jessica Robinette, and I am so thrilled to teach sixth grade math and science for the 2020-2021 school year! This is my second year teaching, but it is my first year at Reeds Spring. I grew up in and graduated from Reeds Spring, so I am excited to be able to teach in my hometown. I continued my education at Missouri Southern State University, and I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.
In my classroom, I work hard to establish a community of learners that is respectful, kind, and dedicated to their learning. I believe in a safe and loving learning environment. I have always been passionate about helping children succeed educationally as well as emotionally and socially. I specifically love teaching sixth grade because there is something special that takes place as children transition from the elementary to the middle school level, and I feel blessed to be a part of such a wonderful process!
Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband, Korey, and my dogs, Kyia and Cash. We also have a kitten named Sammie. In our free time, we love to camp, boat, kayak, and travel together! Some of my favorite things include: chocolate, tacos, coffee, and the color blue.
I believe that when parents, teachers, and students work as a team to reach educational goals, AMAZING things happen! Please don’t be afraid to reach out to me at any point in the school year as I am always here to help.
